While completing a Computer Engineering degree at the University of Manitoba, Daryl took up photography as a hobby. His interest in photography grew and prior to his final year of school, Daryl travelled with a few accomplished photographers to Kruger National Park and the Tshukudu Game Reserve, South Africa, for a “real” photo safari. This trip presented a real awakening as to the amount of knowledge and skill required to be an accomplished photographer as well as the work required to ensure that when the perfect shot presents ifself, you are ready to capture it. As with any subject, you just have to be a sponge and soak it all up.
