To those that where there, and those that weren’t, last night we got a chance to say good-bye to Karin Froese (at least to her in person for a few years). Good luck with your new adventure. Enjoy Cape Town, South Africa and we wish you success with your marriage to Clint Botha.
It took a little while, but I finally got my offer from MB Hydro. I start work May 2 at System Control. I can’t tell you where it is located (that’s a secret!) It was nice to know as I started exams that I didn’t have to look for a job when I was done.
I talked to my supervisor a couple of weeks ago, and he mentioned he has a project lined up for me. I have a suspicion I may need to learn a new programming language this summer…….Python anyone?
As usual, I get ropped into helping my old high school with the lights for their musical. This year they are doing “Grease”. It should be fun. At least it is good music, a lot better than the Sound of Music, and other such musicals…
So, next Thursday, I’ll be hanging lights from the roof of the gym at Oak Park High School. Better make sure not to drop any lights……
Finally! Well, at least until September. I wrote my last exam this evening, so I am now officially in relaxation mode.
I can now get started on the projects I’ve been putting off:
– “El-cheapo” MicroChip programmer: Finish the circuit board, test it and start playing with it….
– Nikon D70: Learn to use it, have some fun…
– Fleur-de-lis: I’ve been putting the website on the back burner for a while…..
– UMES: Learn what I’m to do as the new Promotions lead for next year in Engineering….
That’s all I can think of at the moment. I’ll probably add more to the list later.
Good luck to those that still have exams left….I wish you good luck and may you soon be enjoying the freedom I’m now experiencing!
Hitachi has introduced perpendicular storage technology. Check out this funny animation and song!
